WELCOME

Our Division 10 Flotillas comprise a very unique area.  On the southern edge we have many of the fabulous lakes fed by the Sierra streams and rivers including Don Pedro, Melones, McClure, Millerton, Pine Flat, and Kaweah.

At the Northern edge are the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers which are the lifelines of the Delta, its major thoroughfares, its grand boulevards.  Its other rivers and streams, however, play important roles.  Together they total over 1,000 miles of unparallel beauty across eight counties and 4 major metropolitan areas.... yet in spite of its profusion of waterways, the Delta is surprisingly compact and easy to navigate.

The Coast Guard Station at Rio Vista, which handles this large area, has the largest SAR case load in the Eleventh Coast Guard District and averages 515 SAR cases per year with the greatest amount classified as "Boating Accidents".

In 2009 alone, the 146 volunteer members of this Division have contributed over 17,000 hours to help in supporting the Coast Guard role in safety, training and support efforts.  Flotilla members are encouraged to use this site as a portal to access useful information about local and national Auxiliary activities, events and policies.

If you are a visitor, you will find a wealth of information about the multi-faceted roles of both the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Coast Guard, and many useful links to sites dedicated to recreational boating in general. You are also encouraged to consider joining the ranks of the approximately 35,000 Auxiliary members throughout the United States. Volunteering for service in the Auxiliary will surely be a fulfilling experience, as well as an interesting and, at times, exciting avocation.
